**Central City, Colorado Depot**


This train depot and the land around it were purchased by a mining company and used as a dump for mine tailings.  To "preserve" the fancy brick work the roof was removed and the depot was gently buried.  It is now under many feet of tailings.  The plans are from "The Narrow Gauge and Short Line Gazette."
